I have often wished to express my gratitude for benefits received through Christian Science, and I take pleasure in doing so now through the periodicals. From childhood I had suffered from very painful attacks of an acute throat affection, sometimes having as many as three in one winter. At last I determined to give Christian Science a trial, and sent for a practitioner, who found me in bed and very ill. I was able to dress and go down-stairs in less than twenty-four hours after her arrival.

This was over seven years ago, and for one or two years following I would seem to have symptoms of the old ailment, but with help in Christian Science I would be relieved in a few hours, 'whereas formerly under medical treatment I would always be confined to my bed for two weeks, with a physician in daily attendance. For several years now I have had no trouble whatever, for which I am truly thankful.
