Malicious animal magnetism is only another name for...
Houston (Tex.) Chronicle
Malicious animal magnetism is only another name for evil and its suppositional activity and claim of power. Every religious organization recognizes the claim of evil as something to be overcome and cast out, and so do Christian Scientists; but the Christian Scientist understands God to be infinite, and good, and omnipotent, and that therefore evil is in reality neither person, place, nor thing. From this premise the Christian Scientist feels encouraged to strip from evil its pretense of power by showing it to be powerless. This action can never injure the individual, but it should and does benefit him and teaches him that God is omnipotent and good, hence good is the real and the only power.
