Many, many times it has occurred to me to give my testimony, though words are inadequate to express what this truth has done for me in the past year. For five years I had been looking into it, but now, I thank God, I am safely anchored. It has cured me of many ailments,—the greatest of all from fear of nervous trouble, which to mortal sense is hereditary in my family; but to know that there is no law of heredity in God's kingdom, has dispelled this awful condition. I have had three severe attacks of this trouble, and as I am now only in the prime of life, to know that it can never return again is heaven to me. I devoutly thank dear Mrs. Eddy, who has labored so patiently and lovingly to bring this great truth to the world. To her I owe an endless debt of gratitude for the way in which she has made it so clear that in its light I have learned to know God aright.
