It is now six years since Christian Science entered our home. The healing of my brother from a relapse in an acute illness, through the power of Truth, proved to me that there is hope for all who wish to be free. I had suffered for years with catarrhal trouble, but after two weeks' treatment in Christian Science. I was entirely healed. Before I became interested in this teaching, I was a very dissatisfied woman. I wanted to lead a Christian life, but did not know how. I used to wish many times, after reading how Jesus healed the sick, that I could do as he did, but I did not for a moment think this could be. Thanks be to God for Christian Science, which is showing us the way if we only hear and see. We have had many beautiful demonstrations of the power of Truth in our family of five, including my father and mother. My husband passed away at the time I first took up Science, leaving me with two little children to provide for; but divine Love has met our every need. Both of my parents are earnest seekers for truth. My mother was healed of nervous trouble, also of fainting spells and other ailments. My father, seventy years of age, was healed of a badly injured leg, so that in three weeks he could get about again. He was healed of running sores, also of catarrh. He is very grateful for this truth. Many ailments have been overcome for the children, such as croup, fevers, etc.

We are certainly thankful to God for the many blessings which this healing power has brought to our home, but I am even more so for the spiritual uplifting, which is received when we are ready for it. I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
