I feel it a duty to express my gratitude for the blessings...
I feel it a duty to express my gratitude for the blessings which Christian Science has brought to me and mine. Our youngest child was born under Christian Science treatment, and I can truthfully say there was no such suffering as in former times, and in a week I was up and doing my own work. Fevers, headache, toothache, and injuries have all been healed by this blessed truth. My little girl woke up one night with severe pain in her ear. I at once declared the truth for her, and taking her in my arms I began to read Science and Health. In an hour she went to sleep, but the pain reappeared and she commenced to cry. Then the thought came that I must try more earnestly, which I did. As I read again, and declared the ever-presence of divine Love, she went to sleep and slept till morning, and there was never any return of the trouble.
To me this experience seemed a great deal, and I am very thankful that I am learning how to meet all seeming evil with the truth. I have also been helped in a great many other ways, and I am very grateful to God, as well as to Mrs. Eddy for bringing to us this healing word.
Mrs. Byantha A. Chase, Janesville, Wis.
