About two years ago I came to Christian Science for physical help. I tried several doctors, the last one saying that I must take the rest-cure. Just at this time, through a friend, I heard of Christian Science, and after thinking it over for a week I decided to give it a trial: and am thankful today that I did so. After taking a few treatments, I found that it is the truth that sets men free, but I also found I had a work to do in order to be free, At first it seemed rather uphill, and again I saw that each step was one toward freedom. With the loving watchfulness of my teacher, and the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I soon saw my old troubles, in the words of Longfellow,—

... fold their tents like the Arabs,
And as silently steal away.

I am especially grateful to Mrs. Eddy for pointing out the way so clearly. My greatest desire is to understand more of Christian Science.
