That democracy, or rule by majorities, is the most advantageous system for the administration of human affairs, providing the people are prepared for it, no one seriously questions.

THE ARK OF GOD AND DAGON

In our Leader's brief but wonderful description of the unfolding to her thought of the great verities of Spirit, she affirms that the Bible was her only text-book, and adds: "The Scriptures were illumined; reason and revelation were reconciled, and afterward the truth of Christian Science was demonstrated".

THE LECTURES

Prof.
With a feeling of grateful love, I wish to add my testimony to the many given in the Sentinel and Journal, for they have been very helpful to me.
I would like to express my gratitude, especially for the proofs of protecting and healing power of the teachings of Christian Science which I have experienced in cases of sudden injuries.
It is with deep gratitude to God that I relate the story of my healing through Christian Science.
I was ill for six years, the greater part of that time able to do but little, and part of the time nothing at all.
On being asked if Christian Science has done anything for me, my answer is, that I believe it has saved my life.
I wish to submit my testimony to the healing power of Truth.
I wish to express something of what Christian Science has done for me.
When our little son was born in March, 1908, it was noticed that he could not use his left hand or arm.
A little over two years ago, I was stricken with a severe attack of fever.
With a sense of devout thankfulness I wish to express my gratitude for the help which Christian Science has been to me, and for many manifestations of the power of divine Love.

I wish to add my testimony to the efficacy of Christian Science, and to express my deep gratitude for what it has done for me.
Often as I have desired to express my gratitude for Christian Science and what it has done for me.
Words are so inadequate to tell what Christian Science has done for me and mine, that I have been slow to write a testimony for publication.
It is with a greatful heart that I wish to tell what Christian Science has done for us.
I am a schoolboy and have always been a Christian Scientist.

OUR KNIGHT

Surely he'd come, this knight, and like the king,Arthur of old, redress the wrong and standFor honor, justice, and for stainless truth! In dream I saw him draw his sword,—the Word,Before whose power wrong shrinks, abashed and pale,Foreseeing doom in this one flash of light.
