On being asked if Christian Science has done anything...
On being asked if Christian Science has done anything for me, my answer is, that I believe it has saved my life. It has also brought to me good health, besides what it has done for my two babies. I had catarrhal trouble of the head and throat so that I could scarcely eat at all, and I lost my voice almost entirely. I took absent treatment in Christian Science, and now I can talk sing as loud as I wish. My throat is actually better than it ever was, for when a child I was always afflicted with bronchial trouble, but now I am free from it. Besides this, the truth has healed me of other ills.
Those who believe there is nothing impossible with God are bound to acknowledge the power of Christian Science, for it is undoubtedly "the works of God," spoken of by Jesus. We all believe in Christian Science, and I have nothing to do with medicine. I have a copy of Science and Health, and this book and the Bible I constantly read. I do not hesitate to tell any one what Christian Science has done for us.—Adah Callie, Aubrey, Tex.
