I wish to add my testimony to the efficacy of Christian Science, and to express my deep gratitude for what it has done for me. I had been suffering from a severe cold for several weeks previous to Jan. 1, 1909, on which date I was suddenly taken very ill in the street with what seemed to be acute lung trouble. Besides the pain I coughed incessantly, and I had to be taken into a store, although I was only five minutes' walk from my home. I was taken home in a carriage, and my husband immediately went for a Christian Science practitioner, who responded at once. I was in a complete state of collapse when she arrived, but after a few minutes' treatment the cough ceased, and in less than half an hour my trouble had all disappeared, and I have been a perfectly well woman ever since.

Previous to that time I knew absolutely nothing about Christian Science healing. I am in my sixty-sixth year, and since the day I was freed from my diseases by divine Truth, as revealed in Christian Science, I have missed only one meeting in the church, and that was on account of stormy weather. My physical health is better than at any time in the last twenty-five years. I read and study the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, every day, and attend all the meetings. I have received great benefit in many ways from the study of this book, and am trying to prove my gratitude by shaping my life in accordance with its teachings.
