It is with a greatful heart that I wish to tell what Christian Science has done for us. Since knowing of this wonderful truth, about two years ago, we have used no material remedies, depending entirely on Christian Science. In May, 1908, our little boy of three years was severely burned on his hands and body with an acid, and he also swallowed some of it; but with the help of a Christian Science practitioner, who was called immediately by telephone, he was entirely healed in four hours' time. He ate a hearty supper, slept all night, and there were never any bad results from the experience. How we rejoiced over this demonstration, realizing what the result would have been if material means had been used. When we understand that the power of God, good, is ever present, we know that when this truth is rightly applied, good resutls must ever follow. I formerly read the Bible as a duty; now it is a pleasure to do so, and the spiritual understanding of it is to me a great blessing. We find Christian Science of great help in rearing our children, and there is more peace, love, and harmony in our home. Many ills of the flesh have been overcome,—such as colds, headache, fever, earache, etc. My husband was healed of rheumatism, from which he had suffered for years, and for which he had used many material remedies with only temporary relief.

Christian Science has not only healed our bodies, but has made better Christians of us. I cannot in words express my gratitude for the healing power of divine Love, but I hope my life may prove it. God bless our dear Leader for bringing this truth to suffering humanity.
