My heart goes out in gratitude to God, and also to our dearly beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, whose teachings have started me on my journey from sense to Soul. I suffered for many years from what physicians called chronic stomach, kidney, and bowel disorders. After trying a number of different doctors without receiving any help, I was healed through Christian Science in less than three weeks. Words cannot express my deep gratitude for this physical healing, but the spiritual uplifting, the joy and the peace, that this blessed teaching has brought into my life, mean much more to me. It is now fourteen years since my healing, and I have not had the slightest return of these ailments.

It has been proven to me many times, in our family, that God is an ever-present help in time of need. All I am and all I have, I owe to this wonderful truth. Through the study of the Bible, and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I have learned that God is our Life, that in Him is our health and our strength, and in Him we "live, and move, and have our being."
