I wish to express my gratitude for the innumberable...

I wish to express my gratitude for the innumberable blessings which I have received, and am receiving daily and hourly, through the application of Christian Science. It is a great comfort to know that God is ever present, and that all we have to do is to call upon Him and He will answer us. The psalmist says: "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone." How often have I had proof of the truth of this promise. I have been healed of acute lung disease in the last stages, of neuralgic trouble, and of colds that were sometimes of several months' duration. Two years ago I was healed of a very bad felon. My friends advised me to go to a surgeon. They said that even if he did take off the one finger, that would be far better than having the whole hand amputated, which they were sure would be the ultimate result if I continued to take the risk of Christian Science treatments. But the truth, which is "sharper than any twoedged sword," was the only surgeon, and the error was destroyed, leaving the hand whole and perfect.

These physical benefits are, however, but the least of our blessings received in Christian Science. They do not compare with the joy and love and peace that fill our hearts when we learn, at least in part, to have that Mind in us "which was also in Christ Jesus."
