For eight years I had been under the care of specialists for throat and lung disease; had spent one winter South and had been told that I could not endure another winter in this climate. I was very much discouraged, and decided to try Christian Science, although I had very little faith that it would help me. I went to a practitioner, and was healed of the throat and lung affection in a short time. It is nearly eight years since I began the study of Christian Science, and they have been the happiest years of my life. I have had some struggles with error, and have yet much to overcome, but I know that I have found the right path, the way that leads to life eternal. I am grateful to all who have in any way helped me, and I thank God daily for the beautiful life of our Leader, who has taught us how to understand this truth that makes free.
