Christian Science is not gnosticism nor Brahmanism...
Joliet (Ill.) News
Christian Science is not gnosticism nor Brahmanism as is claimed, but it is the restatement or rediscovery of primitive Christianity. The claim of Christian Science to be a reinstatement of the theory and practice of Jesus and the early Christians, is substantiated by the fact that it is doing the works which Jesus said should be the evidence of true discipleship. Christian Science does not teach that disease is healed by denying the existence of the body, but on the contrary teaches that disease is healed by understanding what Mind really is. It teaches its students to wipe out the abnormalities and discords of mortal existence by understanding more of the immortal and harmonious reality of being.
