I write to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. About five years ago I was healed of a severe bowel disorder, from which I had suffered for more than twenty years. I was also healed of rheumatism and neuralgic pains, heart disease, etc., while reading Science and Health. While I am very grateful for the physical ease which Christian Science has given me, more beautiful than all is the spiritual uplifting, the sweet communion with the ever-present One, our Father-Mother God, whom to know aright is life eternal.

I am striving to live my gratitude, as words are inadequate to express what the heart feels. I am very thankful to Mrs. Eddy for giving us this understanding of God.
