Maryville (Mo.) Tribune

Christian Scientists rejoice in every good deed, and under no circumstances do they malign or belittle the religious faith of another sect, neither do they seek to interfere with the method of any benevolent sect or society. They know that there is but one common foe for all to fight, and it is greater than any personality or number of persons. To the world, it is manifested in different phases of wicked personalities and their evil deeds. Christian Scientists desire to cast out this devilish element from the life of mortals, and save them to a life of truth and goodness. Constantly breathing forth the impulse of kindness and charity, wherefore should the world stone us for this holy purpose and the practice thereof, even though it accords not with another's beliefs. Any statements as to our religious convictions or practice that disagree with this are absolutely false.
