Like many others, I came to Christian Science for the physical healing alone. I had suffered for years with neuralgia, also had hard lumps form on the muscles of the arms until I could not raise my arms to my head, and I wore glasses. Members of my family who were interested in Christian Science would tell me about the wonderful things it was doing for them, but I thought they only imagined such to be true. I finally told my sister that she could ask her friend to treat me, but that I would not go myself. I had been suffering so much with my teeth that I could not sleep at all, but I slept that night and have not had neuralgia since. I believed right then and there in Christian Science; I forgot to wear my glasses, and the other troubles all vanished.
I now fully realize what a great thing Christian Science is, and I would not be without it for anything. It makes life so different when one does worry about everything, as so many certainly do in the old way. I could tell of very many beautiful demonstrations, but give this one with the thought that some doubter may try it as I did; for I was a doubter, but now know Christian Science to be the saving truth.—Mrs. Lizzie Marjenhoff, Charleston, S. C.
