I suffered with asthma for many years and used many material remedies, but without any improvement. Finally I sought healing through travel and change of air, but was not relieved by either; I always returned home with my ailments. In the summer of 1899 I happened to hear about the spiritual healing in Christian Science, and immediately decided to give it a trial; so I went to see a practitioner and asked for treatment. After having called upon her several times I was better, and although the trouble was a very stubborn one, I was completely restored with twenty-two treatments. Last summer I was suddenly stricken with a severe swelling of the face, so that my eyes were completely closed. I sent word to the practitioner, asking her to treat me absently. From the first treatment the eyes improved, and after the third I was completely restored. Having experienced this healing power of Truth, I consider it my duty to call the attention of all sufferers to Christian Science.
