I am deeply grateful for what Christian Science has done for me and my family, both spiritually and physically, through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. With the assistance of a practitioner my wife has been healed of a diseased leg, and my little son, aged six years, has been healed of hip disease. He was bound in steel bands, one round his body, another down his back, and two round his leg. He was in these irons for eighteen months and under the doctor's care all the time. When myself and my wife used to lift him from one bed to another his cries were distressing to hear. After the doctor had attended him for eighteen months he said he could do no more for him. He gave me to understand that the only thing to be done for the boy was to put him in a hospital to undergo an operation for the hip disease, but I refused to consent to it.

I was then recommended to try Christian Science, and thank God we did try it. I cannot tell how grateful I am to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for making this blessed truth so plain. We all have received many blessings from it. My little son was better the very first night he was treated. He was free from all the irons in about six months, and can now walk without the assistance of any one. I sincerely hope this testimony will be of help to some poor sufferer. I am better myself than I have been for the last twenty years. Four of my children attend the Sunday School, and everything seems glorious with them. I am deeply thankful to God for this wonderful truth. I cannot express in words the great change it has made in my home.—William Coulson, London, England.
