I would like to tell what Christian Science has done for...
I would like to tell what Christian Science has done for me. During all my life, previous to taking up the study of Christian Science, I was an invalid, and under the care of physicians. At one time I was in a hospital, and received some help, so that I returned home. Jan. 30, 1907, I went back to the hospital for treatment, was examined by a great many physicians, and my case was pronounced a dreaded kidney disease. I was then so weak that I could scarcely walk, but I was told that with extra good nursing and care there was some hope for me. In February of the same year I asked for Christian Science help, and went for treatment eight mornings. The second week I was doing hard work, and since then have not lost one day on account of sickness.
For this healing I owe much to Christian Science. Any one who has gone through such an experience as mine knows what it means to be free. I am thankful to God, and to our dear Leader, for all the blessings that this healing truth gives to mankind.
Edward B. Jewell, Watertown, S. D.
