Twenty-four years ago I received a spinal injury, which rendered me helpless for a time. Nine years ago I was injured again in the same place, and was helpless most of the time for seven years. My mind was affected to the extent that some of my family felt the only safe place for me was an asylum for the insane. Several physicians had pronounced me incurable. Christian Science was brought to my wife's notice by a friend, and a practitioner was called. The first treatment healed me, but I felt it best to continue the treatments for one week, and in that week I laid aside my glasses, which I had worn for about six years. I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for Science and Health, which is truly a "Key to the Scriptures."
