About four years ago I began to be interested in Christian Science
About four years ago I began to be interested in Christian Science. My husband had been a member and regular attendant of the Christian Science church for over a year, and I could see in him a decided change, both in moral and spiritual things. At this time I was a member of an orthodox church, but for seven years had scarcely seen a well day. All medical aid had failed, and I was told I would never be well. Finally I was taken very ill, and my husband said, "Why not try Christian Science this time?" I had been prejudiced against it, but I knew I could not be any worse, so in this condition I went to a practitioner. After a few days' treatment I began to gain, and in a short time I was doing things I had not done for years, and very soon I was able to perform one household duty after another without any discomfort whatever. Many severe ailments have been overcome in our family through the power of Truth.
It is a pleasure to add my testimony for what Christian Science has done for me and mine. At times the way would to sense seem dark, but through the loving help given in Christian Science I have gained encouragement; and gradually the light would be seen, the error destroyed. I am very grateful for the physical benefits received by the understanding of divine Love, both to God and to our Leader, also for the spiritual uplifting gained by the daily study of the Lesson-Sermons.
