LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Boston, Mass., June 22, 1908.

Beloved Leader:—You will allow me to thank you once more for what you said to me. The immortal meaning of your words is growing upon me more and more, and the impersonality of God's idea, God's Son, is wonderfully clear. I have taken to heart the gentle rebuke implied in your words. I understand now what Jesus meant when he said, "Touch me not."

I thank you that you have given me some moments of your precious time—moments of immortal import, never to be forgotten, the harvest of which is "eternal Love." It was a great joy to me to see you in such health, though I never doubted that it would be so. Beloved Leader, you know that I shall never cease to love you and to thank you for the great work you are accomplishing.
