It is with much love that I return thanks to Mrs. Eddy for Science and Health, which shows us how the Christteachings can be made as practical now as they were when the Master and his disciples went about healing the sick and destroying sin. For six years I was under a physician's care, trying to get rid of a very bad catarrhal trouble, which had affected me so seriously that it was feared I would lose the hearing in one ear entirely, and possibly that of the other. We could not see that I was getting any better, but rather worse, until I finally went to a Christian Science practitioner for help.

Is it anything but natural that I should be thankful for Christian Science, when I say that through its ministry I was healed of the catarrhal trouble, and that my hearing is no longer affected. This healing took place three years ago. Christian Science has also healed me of a great deal of fear that I seemed to have had from childhood. I am truly grateful to God for all the blessings He has bestowed on me.—Josephine Ward, Chicago, Ill.
