I cannot find words to express the gratitude I feel for...

I cannot find words to express the gratitude I feel for the many benefits received through Christian Science. From childhood I had been very delicate, and had taken a great deal of medicine. I was a sufferer from nervous and stomach troubles; had also met with an accident, causing a hernia, so that for over nine years I was unable to walk without wearing a heavy support. I sought help from the best physicians in this city, besides being treated by specialists in Cincinnati and Detroit, but without relief; and I was becoming very much discouraged. It was during the summer of 1904 that Christian Science was first presented to me by a relative, who had been successfully healed of chronic bowel trouble. Several copied of the Sentinel and The Christian Science Journal were loaned me, and I became deeply interested in their teachings. I gave my case into the care of a practitioner, and through his kindness and patience my physical troubles gradually disappeared, so that I realized the truth of Mrs. Eddy's words, "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings" (Science and Health, Pref. p. vii.). Over three years have elapsed, and I am still rejoicing in my freedom from suffering. I also received the blessing of a much better understanding of the Bible, and I now know that God abides with us forever if we obey His commandments. For all these benefits I am deeply grateful to God, and also to Mrs. Eddy, through whom this glorious truth has been revealed.
