A few weeks ago I attended a meeting in one of the city churches. During the evening an experienced Scientist spoke and while she was speaking I suddenly realized that one of the ailments which had troubled me for five years had passed away. For the first time I could look upward, and I saw these golden words: "God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." Those who, like myself, seemed bound hand and foot, and have suddenly felt themselves free from the detested bondage, know that I cannot find words to express the feeling of joy and earnest gratitude that fills my heart. " 'Twas the truth that made us free" (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 398).—Emma Heim, New York, N. Y.
