Through the healing of my mother I first became interested in Christian Science. At first I, like many others, scoffed at the idea of resorting to Christian Science for help for any physical ailment, but after my mother's first treatment I seemed to realize that it was not a mere fad but the new-old religion of Christ Jesus brought to light. In many ways I have proved the healing power of divine Truth, having had but two treatments for an abscess in my ear, and having helped myself in demonstrating over numerous bilious attacks. It is indeed impossible to express the feeling of comfort the daily study of the Lesson-Sermons brought to me during my mother's long illness, when at times her healing seemed so slow to manifest itself.

This path of Life, Truth, and Love was pointed out to me two years and a half ago, and I am deeply grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy; so grateful that I should like my expression of thanks to be one constant song of praise to God.—Leila Goodfriend, San Francisco, Cal.
