I desire to take this opportunity to express my thankfulness for the benefits received from Christian Science. I gladly give my testimony, hoping it may be the means of helping others to find the truth, and healing from disease. I first became interested in Christian Science in January, 1904. I had suffered for a number of years from a severe case of hay fever and asthmatic trouble, supposedly hereditary, as my father passed away with this disease. Before turning to Christian Science I tried many physicians, but they could give me no permanent help. I also tried different remedies recommended by friends; but all failed after a short time, and for years I could not go into the country without having an attack. These attacks often left me in such a weakened condition that I would be obliged to remain away from my business for several weeks. As the illness was growing more troublesome, I called upon a Christian Science practitioner, and received relief at once. I continued the treatment for about three weeks, and have been free from both forms of the disease ever since, which was in August, 1906.

Christian Science did for me in this short time what materia medica had failed to do in about thirty years, and I feel very thankful for the healing and also for even the small understanding that I have been able gain of the truth.—James A. Speirs, Lowell, Mass.
