LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Brookline, Mass. Mrs. Mary Baker G. Eddy, Brookline, Mass.

Beloved Leader: — May I thank you for the light which your inspired and recently added lines to Science and Health have brought to my consciousness? Never before have I seen so clearly how we can be "a law unto ourselves." In this knowledge is our protection from the evil which seeketh whom it may devour. The light which is shed abroad from your lamp, ever kept "trimmed and burning." is illumining the whole world. You are holding the torch on high that mankind may see the pathway which the Master trod to heaven, harmony.

Gratefully and lovingly,
Elizabeth A. Bacon.
