Unkind and unsubstantiated reflections upon Christian Science...

Claypool (Ind.) Journal

Unkind and unsubstantiated reflections upon Christian Science will but enlist for it more sympathy and further honest and unbiased investigation on the part of the public. If Mrs. Eddy in her teaching and practice outstrip's any church or system in earnest effort to emulate the Christ in all ways and under all circumstances, thus seeking to preserve "undivided" the Christ garment of spiritual healing and holiness, pulpit and press would do well to emulate her devotion; while she, intent upon her mission, can well afford to say, and does say, of all other systems as did Jesus, "He that is not against us is for us." Humanity needs all the healing and surcease from pain it can get. The effort on the part of Christian Scientists to accomplish this healing is certainly commendable.
