I wish to tell one thing that Christian Science has done for me. In May, 1905, I was employed in a steam laundry, and quite early one morning I stepped backwards into a "trap," or open place in the floor, and fell, striking my back on a joist. I screamed, and then seemed to lose consciousness, but only for a moment. I was helped to get up, but was unable to demonstrate the truth for myself, as I was in great pain; so I called on a Christian Science practitioner for help. This was a few minutes before ten o'clock in the morning, and at twelve o'clock I was entirely free from pain and had no bruise. I returned to my work at one o'clock, and continued until ten in the evening. I worked late all the rest of the week, except one evening on which I attended a Christian Science lecture. In about two weeks from this occurrence I was perfectly healed, without losing any time from work except three hours, and with no expense except for the one treatment.
