With heartfelt thankfulness to God I write this testimony....
With heartfelt thankfulness to God I write this testimony. When my baby was three days old I was taken with serious lung trouble. It left me with nervous and heart ailments. For two months I suffered all that any one could and live. Two good physicians did all in their power to relieve me, yet every day I failed, and I knew and my friends felt that unless some remedy was speedily found I could not get through many days. I could not take any nourishment without the greatest distress.
A good neighbor then asked me to try Christian Science, and that very day a practitioner was called. After she had been with me a half hour I felt hungry, so a good solid lunch was brought to me at once. I cannot begin to tell how good it seemed to eat something, and there were no ill effects. The next day I got up and dressed, and it is difficult to say who was the more surprised that day, my mother when I met her at the door, or myself at seeing her, for she had been sent for without my knowledge. My baby, too, was sickly, and we thought she could not live, but the practitioner told me to feed her and have no fear. She gained from that day. and now is a big strong girl. One of the physicians who attended me was much opposed to Christian Science at the time, but he has since told me that it certainly saved my life, and that my healing had seemed a miracle to him. I have not told one half that I would like to, but space forbids.
Mrs. J. S. Jones, Wales, Me.
