I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to God for...

I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to God for what Christian Science has done for me and mine. I had many ailments, was a sufferer for twenty-five years, and was under the care of the best physicians, some of whom said I would never be a well or strong woman. I took so much medicine that I fairly hated the sight of it, and often wished for something that would heal me. Now I have found it, this inspiring truth that makes us free from sin and pain! I have no words to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. It has been everything to me,—health and happiness; it has made me more contented, more loving and forgiving,—it has done everything good for me. We have had some remarkable demonstrations in our home. My son was wonderfully healed here in Pasadena, after undergoing nearly thirty operations on his head for catarrhal growths. It certainly was distressing, what he seemed to suffer. He also had a terrible stomach trouble, but since he was healed in Christian Science he has never had a return of any of the old ailments, nor have I. We are grateful indeed for our healing. I had a demonstration on last Thanksgiving morning which filled my heart to overflowing. I rejoiced all that day and am still rejoicing. Then, as I listened to the beautiful Thanksgiving service, which was the most inspiring that I had ever heard, it moved the very depths of my being.

God has indeed been good to give us our dear Leader, who has shown us this light and truth. I also wish to express my thanks for the good I have received from reading the Sentinel and Journal. I truly hope this may help some poor sufferer to seek and find the truth as I did.
