The truth of Christian Science was revealed to me through an instantaneous demonstration. I had from early childhood been a sufferer from chronic throat trouble, the doctors pronouncing it serious. I was seldom without a heavy cold. A Christian Science practitioner was at my home when a very severe attack came on, and I asked her for help, which she gave me, and the trouble was overcome in one treatment. It then occurred to me, Why suffer from stomach and bowel trouble, nervousness, headaches, etc., which keep me almost constantly under a doctor's care? I began to take Christian Science treatment, and in a few days the first-mentioned troubles disappeared, and gradually I became comparatively free. Truly, my gratitude to our beloved Mrs. Eddy is very great, for the health and happiness which are now mine through Christian Science.
