I wish to add my testimony to the hundreds of others for the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. I was a sufferer for many years with stomach and bowel trouble, also from weakness and a mental depression which at times was almost despair. I tried drugs till they hurt me even more than the disease; then I experimented with osteopathy, electricity, massage, dieting, and hygiene, never receiving anything but temporary relief. I came to California for the climate, but after six months there was very little change. I was then advised to try Christian Science. I did so, and was helped from the first, so much that I began to read the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and to attend the services. In a short time I was perfectly free from the stomach trouble, and could eat and drink whatever I wished without any suffering, but I am even more grateful for the spiritual awakening.

Christian Science came to me when a mourner, and it lifted the shade of gloom. It has shown me that God is my Life, and that God is Love; it has taken away the fear of death, and is teaching me not to worry; it has given me that peace which the world can neither give nor take away. I thank God every day for Christian Science, and am grateful to our loved Leader for showing us how to make the truth practical.
