It is with deepest gratitude that I tell something of what Christian Science has done for me. I began the study of Christian Science after noticing the wonderful benefits my wife was receiving through treatment. I purchased a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and after reading it a short time, I found that I had been healed of kidney trouble. I also had a chronic cough, for which I had been treated for thirteen years with various kinds of material remedies, but it was gradually growing worse, and seemed so alarming to me, with my little understanding of the truth, that I decided to call on a Christian Science practitioner for help. I did so, and was healed in a very short time.
Before coming into Christian Science I indulged in intoxicating drinks and was very profane. These and many other sinful habits have been overcome through this truth. For the many benefits which my family and myself have received, I am truly grateful to God, also to our Leader.
