I have been so greatly benefited by the testimonies published in our periodicals that I feel it a duty to forward mine, hoping it may be helpful to others. When our little girl was fourteen months old she fell from the porch, striking on her head. She was unconscious when I picked her up, and I ran to the house of a neighboring Scientist, asking that she help me in realizing the truth for her. For a time my fear was greatly calmed, but later, when a serious injury to the skull was discovered, I called upon a practitioner, asking her to take the case. The Lesson-Sermon for the week was "Substance," and through the help received therefrom the true substance was realized, and within a week the fracture was perfectly healed.

Our boy, when four and a half years old, was treated by a Christian Science practitioner for the habit of sucking his thumb, which he had indulged since babyhood. During these years we had tried every material means of which we heard, but to no avail. After a few treatments he was completely cured of the habit. He was also instantly healed of a very serious illness about four years ago, through absent treatment. We feel most truly grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this truth, and hope to show our gratitude by our lives.
