When I came to Christian Science I had been under the doctor's care for months, had been on a diet for weeks, and was in bed a part of the time for two months, suffering and growing thinner all the time. The doctor said he had done all he could for me except to perform an operation, but I did not believe I would be benefited by it. I had seen two wonderful cures through Christian Science, and I felt that I could be healed by this. I went to a practitioner on Feb. 7 and took my first treatment. The next morning I awoke free from all pain. I had also been troubled with my eyes for sixteen years, and had worn glasses for eight years, but this trouble also was healed in Christian Science. One morning I put my glasses on as usual, and after breakfast I thought I would see if I could read without them. To my joy I found I could see better than I had ever done before, and I have not used glasses since. The first twenty weeks after my healing I gained in weight one pound each week.

I take great pleasure in studying the Lesson-Sermons every day, and find that they are a great help to me. I am truly thankful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science.
