All physical ills are, at the bottom, directly traceable...

Milwaukee (Wis.) Sentinel

All physical ills are, at the bottom, directly traceable to lives of sin, and as a cure for them what is better than the "Christ in the heart" cure. We have seen the results of the water cure, the gold cure, the fresh air cure, and the cure by drugs and medicinal preparations; they all fail in being complete, in being entirely satisfactory. But he who takes into his heart the spirit of Christ, and lives according to that spirit, may be cured and will be cured in a great deal more satisfactory manner than he who resorts to drugs. And as to the cause of disease, any doctor will tell you that a life lived along immoral, irreligious lines is more subject to disease than the life lived in a clean and religious manner. And any doctor will agree that the man of correct thought and correct ideas shows a greater tendency to recover, when he has contracted a disease, than he whose mind and thought are not directed along the proper channels. I believe that most sickness due to worry and anxiety can be cured by the "Christ in the heart" cure. Nervous troubles will fade away once the proper line of thought is adopted. With the taking of Christ into our hearts comes the renewal of hope and power and blood and vigor. "I have taken Christ into my heart, and am therefore able to resist temptation," said a Milwaukee man of my acquaintance when asked how he had overcome the drink habit. The power of Christ had enabled him to live a better life. The power of Christ, the "Christ cure," will do away with our ills and our evils.
