I feel thankful to God for the blessings received through Christian Science, and I am deeply grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the truth which has helped me in so many ways. Christian Science cured me of stomach and other troubles, and progress has been made in overcoming a sense of lack, worry, and other faults. When clouds of doubt and trouble came, when I knew not which way to turn, the sunshine of Truth came and drove them away.

I learned that cause and effect are mental; and when fear, worry, envy, resentment, and other evil thoughts were cast out, the stomach trouble disappeared, as well as other discordant conditions. I have learned that if we wish to progress we must attune our thoughts to God's will, and in proportion as we do this we shall be blessed. It seems to me that our thoughts are very much like an echo. If we send out harsh, unloving, and unkind thoughts, they come back to us worse than we gave them out and darkness is all around us. But if we rejoice, and send out happy, loving, joyous thoughts, it seems as though we heard the glad chorus the angels sang on Christmas morn: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."—Andrew O.
