Having received so many blessings through Christian Science, I feel that an acknowledgment of them in writing is one of the ways in which I can express, though feebly, my great gratitude. I began to investigate Christian Science about four years ago, and through the understanding that has come to me, several physical ailments have been overcome, and my health in general has greatly improved. I am especially grateful for the spiritual blessings Christian Science has brought, together with the true understanding of God gained through the study of Science and Health.

The following experience has shown me very clearly the power of Truth in guiding and leading us on our way. Several weeks ago, wishing for some information in regard to obtaining a position abroad, I addressed a letter to a lady on the continent whose name I found in a Christian Science Journal. Shortly afterwards, however, I discovered that in the Journals of a more recent date than the one I had referred to, the name and address were no longer there, in fact had been out for some time, so I abandoned any thought of receiving a reply. It was therefore with a feeling of surprise that about three weeks ago a reply came. My letter had eventually reached the Scientist, though she had married and gone to reside in another country. Notwithstanding this long delay, her reply contained the information that has enabled me to obtain a suitable position, and at the right time. During the weeks that elapsed before I heard from this lady, it had not seemed necessary to take any further step, such as advertising or making inquiries through an agency, in order to obtain what I required, both of which, under similar circumstances, I have considered important in former years. It had seemed so clear to me throughout, that the way would be opened to me at the right moment; and it was so. My gratitude and love for Mrs. Eddy increase more and more, as I gain in the understanding of Christian Science.—Henrietta Gould, London, England.
