Christian Science has changed my entire being; not only have I, but all my dear ones at home have received help at all times when in need of physical healing; nevertheless, greater joys have come to me through the spiritual uplifting, which all may receive who will study the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy. Greatest of all blessings is the beautiful thought of being ever ready to help poor suffering humanity, when asked to do so. My gratitude is simply inexpressible to the one who has so patiently toiled and given to the world this wondrous truth, which heals all our diseases and casts out error of every description, making better men and women of us all. My daily prayer is that I may so live as to be worthy of the great privilege of receiving more wisdom.

For about thirty years before I heard of Christian Science I suffered from the effects of an internal misplacement, which had become so much worse within the last two years that I lived in constant pain and weariness; every organ in my body seemed affected and life was a burden. My doctor could do nothing to relieve my suffering, and sent me to a specialist, who said, after a thorough examination, that nothing could be done for me, that the conditions were altogether too complicated and of too long standing to be dealt with by surgery, and he held out but little hope of relief. Through all my suffering I retained my faith in God and believed that with Him all things are possible, so that when I heard of Christian Science I was ready to accept it as the truth. I called upon a practitioner for treatment and during our first interview I was healed. From that time every organ in my body acted normally and harmoniously and all that remained of the old trouble was a slight sense of weakness and pain. This also shortly disappeared and to-day I am able to walk up and down stairs and do work with a freedom and ease which I had not known for years. I am deeply grateful for this relief from suffering, and I am also deeply grateful for the more spiritual understanding of the Bible which I have gained through reading Mrs. Eddy's wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and for such a sense of God's love and ever-presence as I had never before realized.
