Gratitude for the many benefits received through Christian Science impels me to send my testimony. Over three years ago I was healed in one treatment of what seemed to be developing into a severe ailment. At that time Christian Science seemed to me simply a means of getting quick relief from physical ills, and it did not appeal to me as being of spiritual benefit. A year later there came into my experience great mental distress, filling me with unhappiness and unrest. I then began to read Science and Health, constantly, every spare moment. Before the first reading was finished I was healed; peace and calm had taken the place of unrest, and instead of sorrow there was a joyousness which can only be understood by those who have gone through a like experience. Since then the truth of Christian Science has been proven to me many times in physical healing, and for this I am deeply grateful. But my gratitude is far greater for the spiritual Help, and for the light which Science and Health throws upon the Bible. It has indeed proved itself the "Key to the Scriptures," unlocking their treasures and making practical their promises. I am very grateful to God for this revelation of truth, and for the Revelator to this age, our Leader, who has done and is doing so much for mankind. I also wish to express my gratitude for the Sentinel and Journal. They are very helpful to me.
