For fourteen years I was subject to chronic stomach trouble. I had tried doctors of both schools of medicine, but existence became a drag and as a result business became a drag, and I was not bringing out in the home life what was due my wife and children. I had had three complete break-downs,—one fifteen years ago, one seven years ago, and the last four years ago, when I was about to give up my business and resign myself to fate. I have since learned that many people thought it was a question of being resigned to die, because I looked so badly. Knowing something, however, of the teaching of Christian Science, I decided to try that, and I hunted up the only Christian Scientist that I knew in this city. From him I learned of the address of a Christian Science practitioner and called the same evening. I immediately discontinued medicine and began Christian Science treatment. In three days' time I found myself eating with no bad effects the things that formerly I had to refuse, and in three weeks considered myself well. This occurred over four years ago, and I have been perfectly well ever since and have not had the slightest return of the old trouble. I have interested many in Christian Science and have seen people cured of all manner of diseases.
