I shall be very happy if the story of my healing by Christian Science serves the purpose of helping some one else out of trouble as I was helped in my hour of great need. I am a farmer, seventy years of age, and had suffered for ten years with two severe chronic diseases, until two years ago, when I was treated in Christian Science. Since then I have been healed of these troubles, also of deafness, and of the desire for liquor and tobacco, which I had used for the last fifty years. These were overcome with the help of a practitioner, together with the study of Science and Health and in trying to live its teachings. I wish to express my gratitude to God, and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
