Any religious teaching which tries to bring heaven to...
Norfolk (Va.) Ledger-Dispatch
Any religious teaching which tries to bring heaven to us now; which is teaching us to be thoughtful of others; to bring happiness and to do good; to dispense in our daily lives sunshine and gladness, and to love our neighbor in the way the Master commanded us to do; and which is based absolutely upon the simple and sublime teachings of Jesus Christ, cannot be rightly termed false teaching. This is what Christian Science, which was founded by Mrs. Eddy, is doing. The thousands who have investigated her teachings, and who have accepted them, testify to having received from them a demonstrable understanding of God as divine Principle, as infinite Life, Truth, and Love, as omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient Spirit, "who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases."
Christian Science is a practical religion. It enables us to understand and to apply to every condition of life, with beneficial and healing results, the wondrous truths given to man by the Master, so that by them multitudes have been healed and are being healed to-day, physically, morally, and spiritually, just as the multitudes were healed in the days of the Galilean prophet.
