How thankful we should be that at last the truth which is able to set us free from the bondage of the world has been made clear to us, and that we have but to accept the teaching of Christ Jesus as interpreted in Christian Science and obey his commands in order to receive all the promises of the Father,—health, harmony, heaven, here and now. Of this I have proof, for about one year and a half ago, after all material aid had failed and the doctors had said they could not help me, I turned to Christian Science and received help immediately. From a state of deep despondency I was raised to happiness and peace; from long-continued suffering, I was released in one treatment. I was well—happy—and have been so ever since. I was also instantly cured, by my own realization of the truth, of a pain in my hip which had troubled me for several years.
For all that Christian Science has done for me,—and there is not an hour, no, not a moment of the day that I am not benefited by it,—I am deeply grateful to God, who through our loved Leader has made these things possible.
Miss Ethel B. Prescott, Boston, Mass.
