Like the woman who was healed through touching the hem of the garment of Jesus, I, too, wish to acknowledge the manifold healing received through touching "the hem of Christian Science" (Retrospection and Introspection, p. 37). I have no words to express the light which the life and works of Mrs. Eddy have thrown upon the Bible and the mission of Jesus; upon God's purposes for His children. and how they may be made a living, glowing, practical rule of life. A university medical course, and fourteen years of active practice, have been of value to me, in showing me the difference between the highest human methods and those of God as revealed by Christian Science.

My debt to Mrs. Eddy, to the workers at headquarters, and to the entire Field. can only be paid by obedience to infinite Love. —Louise Eleanor Chapman, Dayton, O.
