Christian Science teaches that the truth about everything...
The Trust Seeker, New York. N. Y
Christian Science teaches that the truth about everything in the universe may be known, and that this truth, when understood, reveals harmonious, sinless conditions. Christian Science goes on to teach that sickness and sin are not the true and lasting conditions to which man must subscribe, and that an understanding of the truth touching these conditions will, if applied, bring about their annihilation. thereby demonstrating the supremacy of Truth. A mis conception of Life, as of mathematics, produces discord to human sense, and permeates whatever line of endeavor is involved with the mistake.
In the sense that an error in the application of mathematics is not true or real, other words is not to be accepted as of value or relied upon, so Christian Science regards all conditions which do not measure up to the premise of the absolute truth taught by Christ Jesus.
Christian Scientists deplore and condemn all war and pestilence as earnestly as do all others; and because they do not regard these conditions as necessary or founded on an understanding of Truth, they are prepared to consider them the products of the human ignorance of Truth, in fact the opposite of that which is real and good, and, therefore, in this sense unreal.
