During the winter of 1904 I was sadly crippled for many weeks with a festered thumb. The pain was intense, and the disease rapidly. I seemed too dull of spiritual sight and hearing to meet and master the conditions, and suffering, prolonged inconvenience, and the loss of the thumb nail were the mournful results.
A few weeks since I was again confronted by a similar ailment. The symptoms were alarming to mortal sense, but I so longed to gain the true consciousness that I at once set about it scientifically. I studied the words of our text-book, so entirely applicable to the case Health, p. 373), and almost at once there was an abatement of every painful symptom: I pursued my household duties, and in a few days the entire victory was won.
Alice Marguerite Taylor, Valley City, N. D.
